The correct visa route depends on travel purpose

Türkiye’s visa regime varies by nationality, passport type and travel purpose. Some travelers may be visa exempt, some may qualify for e-Visa, and others must apply through a Turkish mission abroad.

The official e-Visa system is valid only for tourism and commerce. Work, study and other purposes require the relevant visa route through Turkish embassies or consulates.
