Citizenship and residence are not the same process

A residence permit and Turkish citizenship are different legal statuses. Purchasing property does not automatically create a right to residence or citizenship in every case; separate eligibility rules apply.

Exceptional citizenship through property

The monetary threshold, title restriction and other eligibility conditions for the property citizenship route may change. The current figure should therefore be read from the site’s source-controlled regulatory record and reverified against the official source at transaction time. Eligibility certification and other application steps are separate, and citizenship cannot be guaranteed.

Residence based on property ownership

The Presidency of Migration Management lists foreigners owning immovable property in Türkiye among potential grounds for a short-term residence permit. The property must be a house and used for that purpose, among other requirements. Current file requirements should always be checked at the time of application.

Our role

We provide initial eligibility mapping, specialist coordination, document planning and process follow-up. Legal representation, where required, must be handled by duly authorized lawyers.
